Summer Market
We are now offering memberships for our 2018 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Community Supported Agriculture programs are a great way for producers to connect with consumers. Consumers are able to learn about the produce and in this case, come to the farm where it is produced.
Here at Gust Brother's, we are 5th generation farmers who use sound farming practices to grow our crops. Sound farming practices include things like rotating crops, using animal manures and cover crops, and taking soil samples to help prevent over fertilization. We also only use pesticides when necessary.

"Every Other" Half bag Membership-5 pickups. Half bag mixed produce (costs $150)
**5 Extra weeks of you-cut flowers (costs $20)
**3 Extra weeks of you-cut flowers (costs $12)
** Included in the 10 week CSA is the opportunity to cut a bouquet of flowers 2 times. All 5 weeks CSA's will have the opportunity to cut their own flowers one time. The 5 (or 3) extra weeks are in addition to that.
-Turkey CSA--Receive a farm fresh (never frozen) turkey for Thanksgiving on Monday, November 19, 2018. Along with the purchase of your turkey, you will receive vegetables such as potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, and squash to supplement your Thanksgiving feast. The order form will be available starting early August, 2018. In previous years, our birds have ranged from 15 to 35 pounds with the average falling around 22 pounds. At this time, we are not able to guarantee turkey weight and turkeys are picked up on a first come-first served basis.

When
You will get produce as soon as the first lettuces, carrots, peas, radishes, beets, broccoli, potatoes, and squash are ready. Our first pickup is tentatively scheduled for June 25, 2018. After 10 weeks, our last pickup will be the week leading up to Labor Day.
Members will come to the pick up site to get their produce. Pickup is from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the pickup site on Mondays or Thursdays. We are flexible with the 4-7 pm time period. Please let us know and we will make arrangements if that time doesn't work.

Where
Different than 2015, 2016, and 2017, the pick-up site will no longer be at the 13708 Yankee Road location. Pick up will occur at our summer market location. This year, our summer market is located at 11998 Rodesiler Highway, Ottawa Lake, MI 49267. The location is just east of Gust Brother's pumpkin farm by about 1/4 mile. The site is only five to ten minutes northwest of Sylvania, Ohio. All produce, with the exception of cut-your-own flowers, will be pre-picked for members at the site. Each week, members will be able to mix and match their produce here.
This location will also be a self serve stand and we will offer you-pick vegetables and you-cut flowers all summer.
